Why AIM?
Why U.S. Companies List on AIM
The Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange (LSE) is a reputable, internationally recognized stock exchange for small and medium-sized, growth-oriented companies. The investor base is sophisticated and is willing and able to support AIM IPOs and multiple secondary offerings on AIM for companies that are achieving results and are properly communicating with the market.
With 47 companies operating from the U.S. already listed on London's AIM, the challenges of a foreign listing are well understood. Some additional time and effort is required from executive management during the admission / IPO process, however, that time and effort is saved over the longer term given the fact that London AIM’s ongoing regulatory burden is low. London’s infrastructure of professional advisers can cater to any size company, in any industry, located anywhere in the world.
